The Koger Center
This was the business park built in the Woods several years ago.
There is a Best Buy, a Lowe's, an extended stay hotel, a car wash
place, and a lot of office buildings. The land used to be owned
by a guy who used to hunt on the land and had made all kinds of back
roads for him to drive on. I will never forget one morning going
to school with my dad in his old blue Audi Fox. We broke down at
the bottom of Stanley Road, right at the entrance to I-40. We had
to walk all the way back home, and we ended up walking across the huge
fields of dirt where the construction crews had cleared all that land
to begin construction on the business park. Most of my pictures
were taken driving down the main road of the park, Koger Blvd, in my VW
Rabbit.
